Its amazing where knowledge can come from

I was watching a short poker video on some website today and I found a really good improvement for the Vulture, I used it today and won $50. I know that I said that I wouldnt be using this system until my head was right……well I think that it is right now.

I also noticed something that I was doing wrong, if I took a hit on a certain table….I didnt automatically top up my stack. Instead I played the shorter stack but that was making two glaring errors. Firstly the shorter stack was giving me less implied odds against the bigger stacks but more importantly, it was affecting my mindset.

I was far more likely to stick 40-50 big blinds in the middle and my poker was getting a little slapdash at times. So there has been a considerable tightening since the $118 debacle on Monday. I am now $227 ahead this month after just over 7 hours.

I am also over $3100 ahead since the 1st Dec but dont take that as an earn rate. Played a little spin up yesterday, havent done this in ages but I managed to turn $50 into $327 at PLO. I will try to get this to $400 and then buy in to a PLO400 game and see what happens.

My partner was analysing my past sessions this weekend on his Poker Office 5 and he found that I was being taken to the cleaners by a couple of regs in the 25-50, very nice to know. I thought that I had got that game sorted a while back but it just goes to show that the forever changing landscape means that you can never relax for a minute.
