Testing Testing

Just played a session in my Poker Pro Challenge or should I say…..testing The Vulture and I won $48 over 1hr and 12 mins. So far this month over 11,025 hands (plus the hands that I played today) I am ahead by $739.

I have also corrected what I think is a flaw in the system today as I lost 70BB with AKs on a K-Q-6 flop after limping in from early position and then calling a raise which was in fact by a guy who had AA. At one stage I was close to having my best session this month. But I need to specifically look at the playing of AK,AKs in early position and will be doing that today.

But I have made further progress with the fine tuning of this since my $44 loss on Saturday and am now $29 ahead of where I was on Saturday morning.

A few people have asked me today if I need people to beta test this system…..unfortunately there is nothing to pass on at this stage as I have not articulated ths system or even finalised it. Plus with the greatest respect to people, this is really something that I need to test myself, if I spot something that maybe needs tweaking like today for instance then its difficult for other people to correct this without knowing the underlying philosophy of what I am trying to do.

But I have basically tested this myself anyway and certainly will have by the end of next month. So it is all looking even better than what it did Saturday morning and every bad session leads to further improvement.

I thought last week that there was little else that could be done but evidently not after the past 48 hours. But that just serves to show that I really AM CLOSE now to finishing this as after my analysis today regarding the EP AK and AKs situations…..it should be pretty close.
