Omaha Oh My

After plugging away playing more and more PLO recently, I think that I have finally cracked these six handed games. I have not been doing too great in them over the past year and in fact, going back through my records, my earn rate is pathetic.

But it is definitely the game to play for serious players as there is more of an edge for good players at this game. The only problem is that unlike NLH, it is difficult to get to where you need to be using any other method than experience. There are some decent books out there but most if not all of those will teach the basics and how to play in full ring games.

6 max games are a totally different kettle of fish….when I finally opened up and started playing POKER….then my results have increased substantially. There are just so many bad players in games from 2-4 to 5-10. You just do not find players as bad as that at those limits in the NLH games.

At PLO, you can have a nice earn rate at 2-4 to 5-10 just playing solid poker….but at NLH at the same levels it is a lot more diffcult because of the overall tougher calibre of players.

Gave a large chunk of the money back last night that I won in the 25-50 NL the other day…..no complaints….just a couple of bad beats. Have not played in the 100K since last post but will be playing tonight and again tomorrow.
