Its tougher than I thought

Firstly, won $215 in the $100K challenge and bankroll now stands at $930! Not bad considering I was down to about $300 and looking very shakey indeed at one point. But I aint getting carried away because that is still less than my original starting figure two weeks ago.

But these low stakes online games are tougher than I thought they would be. I was expecting to see loads of indisciplined players just chucking money around….WRONG! I need to make a few adjustments although I dont want to say what they are at this stage.

But the legislation in the USA last year has contributed to the games tightening up. Less players are coming through and the regulars who can play are hanging around. I know some big limit pro’s who have suffered because of it as well.

In fact and this is going to sound really weird, I see as much indiscipline in a $25-$50 as I am doing in a $0.50-$1…..how do you figure that. Are the bigger games filled with players for whom money is no object, I know that money is relative but I saw a guy tilt off $8000 last week in ten minutes all because his aces got cracked and the other player ribbed him in the chat box.

But my game is not working as well in these small games and if I do not make some adjustments soon then I fear for my chances of ever doing this. But like I said in the video, this is a learning experience and if it is one thing that poker has taught me is that you need to ADAPT….IMPROVISE and OVERCOME!!

Well I am trying to but 10 buy ins is nothing but I knew this going in. Still I have the rakeback to help me out which can be considerable when you multi-table. I think that I will get some tips on how to play these low stakes games from some experienced players who play in them.

I need the help

See ya soon
