I almost blew it

The 100K Challenge went through a very difficult time recently. I was down over $600 since the last post and was still playing 1-2….talk about walking a tightrope.

To be quite frank, I was not bothered if I lost the lot but ended up only being behind by $9 and so the overall bankroll is $2246!! But yes, I am ashamed to admit that it reached such a sad state of affairs that I became un-interested in whether or not I lost all of the money.

In fact, had I not had a prior engagement then that may have happened as I was down to around $1600 at one point. In the new year I will be looking to do another challenge but this time I may tone it down a bit and make it $50,000 from a $1000 which is more realistic but I aint given up yet although I have been taking more risks recently because playing so low is starting to affect me.

I have finally decided on taking up the offer of being bankrolled to play in the larger games. The only thing is that I am going to wait until after Christmas as I have projects on the boil that simply cannot wait. So should be an interesting 2008….cannot wait.
