D-DAY The 1st of June

I have finally arrived at a start date for PROJECT POKERQUEST and I am also upping the number of recruits from 5 to 10 as I think that I can handle 10. I just need to get my book finished (Winning Cash Game Poker) ASAP. My deadline isnt until the 31st of May but I need to be finishing this in April so that will leave me the whole of May to prepare the assault of turning ten serious novices into winning online players.

There have been quite a few people contact me about this and I would like to thank everyone…..trust me you are all in with a shout. I have awarded several places so far to people who I like the sound of. But many people simply cannot find the time to commit to the hours. The thing is that I want the players to develop FEEL and you can only develop feel by doing something. With my guidance and coaching and 24/7 supervision then there is a serious chance that we will make this work.

I am actually more excited by this than any other project that I have undertaken including my $100,000 challenge last year and I do like my projects. But I have a publisher lined up because I want to write a book about this and this is why I need to select the right people for the job. Most people dont know how to beat the low stakes games and dont employ strict money management guidelines….I will do that for them until they have the knowledge and experience and the bankroll to go it alone at a level as high as $25-$50 where you can always see between $20k to $50k on the table and $5k pots are common.

But I need COMMITTMENT and DISCIPLINE from people, they dont have to be great players……great players wouldnt need to do it anyway now would they! They also need to be able to play for very small stakes, I need to see if people have discipline. There is no way that I am going to bankroll someone to the tune of $20k who has no proven track record or discipline and if they have a proven track record then what are they doing coming to me.

Discipline is King because I need to know that you will not spew money away, the first few weeks will be tough but I need to know if people can cut it psychologically. Out of the 10 starters, I am expecting to have made a mistake with at least half of them simply because i dont know them personally. But if one or two of them dont make it then I am going to be very disapointed. I know that things will happen to get in the way for certain people, family and personal issues cannot be avoided and this is why I have increased the number from 5 to 10 and if I find the time or find that I have more time on my hands then I will seriously consider increasing the number again.

But I just need to get my book finished and then it will be all systems go.
