Christmas….and all is well.

All is well with the world this morning, my food poisoning (if that is what it was) seems to have past and I have been feeling much better over the past 48 hours. I had not played any poker for a while so I was hungry to get back into the fray.

I took my overall bankroll in the 100K Challenge back to over 6k with the total now standing at $6102!! I have also had a couple of very good results in the 10-20 game for a combined win of around $6000 which is nice. The 100K bankroll would be in better shape had I not played through boredom while I was ill and lost over $800….tut tut tut.

Oh I nearly forgot, my mates who have taken the prop bets have offered to shelve them as a Christmas boost. I dont know if they felt sorry for me because I was behind schedule and ill or what. But I now have the option to get out of owing them a substantial amount of money should this challenge fail.

I thought (mistakenly) at the outset that these prop bets would keep me motivated but that has obviously not been the case so I am going to take them up on their very nice festive offer…….cheers guys…..we will go out for a few drinks on me.

Just one more thing, just like to say a very big congratulations to my good mate Joe Beevers who has just won the Poker Million yesterday and the $1 million first prize. Its been a good year for Joe and he deserves it……well done mate. You can read more about that at www.thehendonmob.com
