Dont know what to do

Bounced back slightly last night with a win of $25.50 in the $1000 a month challenge. This takes my monthly total to +$122.89. But there are several things that I am not sure about and one of them is in how long I stay on the table after increasing my stack.

This system is supposed to fast track novice players into winning meaningful amounts of money very quickly. But I have hit a snag, I am definitely handicapping myself by cashing out early when I increase my stack. If say my $10 stack becomes $30 then I am cashing out.

I am doing this because novice players are not skilled at playing deep stacked poker. But this is definitely harming my game because I miss the much bigger double throughs. I simply wont have the time or the space to discuss how I play deep stacked poker in the confines of an e-book.

If I am going to start playing “poker” when I hit 50-60 BB then this is going to leave the novices behind. I think that I therefore need to do exactly what I will be advising players to do and that is to leave before my stack gets too big and I probably need to have some sort of cut-off point for this. I am only starting with the 20BB minimum buy-in but that can increase to 40BB quite easily.

On a side note, took a bit of a bashing this week losing $12k at NLHE and PLO. Both games were very good so I have no complaints but the PLO games are kicking me at the moment.
